About the role
As an engineer, you seek to innovate and to solve problems. This occurs at all stages of a project. You'll learn about a client's business and contribute ideas that provide value. You'll explore new technology and integrate cutting edge systems. You'll manage the deployment pipeline and improve infrastructure. And, you'll contribute directly to a continuously progressing product and process.
A Web Developer is predominantly responsible for a project's "frontend components". For most projects, this includes a thoughtful analysis of user experience, web application architecture, extensive HTML5 & JavaScript implementation and myriad 3rd party integrations (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps, etc.). You'll analyze business requirements, communicate with other team members on the project and carry out a successful implementation.
About you
  • You hold a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
  • You have 2+ years of practical development experience on a commercial project for an associate level role
  • You have 5+ years of practical development experience on a commercial project for a senior level role
  • You have strong programming skills with JavaScript and advanced frameworks (e.g. Ember, React, Angular)
  • You consider Bootstrap, Handlebars, ECMAScript, SPA, Node and Bower to be light reading
  • The variety of multiple projects is more exciting than a product
  • Quality is paramount and you're that good that dev speed is not restricted
  • Given you vs. bug, bug doesn't stand a chance
  • Something is new to you... challenge accepted
