VANTA Partners' client is looking to hire a full-time Project Manager (software) to start immediately. Here is a list of tasks the prospective employee may be asked to accomplish and/or attributes the candidate should possess:
Primary Responsibilities:
Who we are looking for
Highly motivated and hungry individuals who will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of a project by playing the lead in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing the project. The project managers will serve as the point of contact for both clients and their team. They must own all tasks and be a creative problem solver. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and an excellent multi-tasker. Must have great communication skills and be easily adaptable to changing circumstances.
Some Must Haves
- Knowledge and understanding of the software development life cycle
- Be able to create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Collaboration is key, someone who will work well on a team
- Superb communication skills - Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with numerous people
- Management skills; ability to create relationships and motivate and engage project team members
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects with varying priorities
- Self-led and strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Reliable, consistently follows through on commitments and deadlines
- Solid decision-making skills
- Energetic and has the ability to encourage and lead a team
- Maintain a positive attitude through stressful situations
- Willingness to learn
- Loves technology and is passionate about the field

Compensation based upon experience. This position has major growth potential.
