Full Stack Developer

FULL STACK DEVELOPER DESCRIPTION:
Vanta client seeks an intuitive, outgoing individual for the Full Stack Developer position at their new headquarters, located in the newly-opened, state-of-the-art spot in Schenectady, NY.
The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the development of the ecommerce user interface to seamlessly blend brands storytelling with our amazing products while also developing technology features that are exclusive to the client's shopping experience. He or she will collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to maximize conversions and key learnings.
The successful candidate is a collaborative, energetic leader capable of driving efficiencies. He or she will be flexible in their workflow and will be proactive in their interaction with others. Inclusivity and a team approach are highly valued in this organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and maintain the front-end and back-end code on brands e-commerce site.
- Develop from static mockups into a working, interactive experience.
- Create CSS and ensure high-quality graphics standards that are consistent across all browsers and platforms.
- Lead all web services API integration, server-side web development including server management, database integration, hosting, and scaling to support increases in web traffic.
- Collaborate with web designers to improve usability, conversion, and other primary KPIs.
- Partner with the digital, merchandising and creative leads to efficiently meet company deadlines.
- Identify new development opportunities consistent with short and long-term goals of the company.
- Integrate new e-commerce feature sets and applications such as new payment solutions, customer retention tools, process automations, and other back-end enhancements.
- Effectively communicate work to both technical and non-technical team members.
IDEAL PROFILE:
education & certification/ license credentials
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
- functional competencies skills, knowledge & experience
- 5+ years experience owning the development of authoritative websites
- Expert knowledge of HTML/JS/CSS required
- Exceptional project management skills required
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus and liquid strongly preferred
- Working technical SEO knowledge is a plus
