Position Title: Manager, IT Operations
Position Location: REMOTE - anywhere in US

Our client has assembled an industry-leading team of senior executives with strong track records of building and leading multi-billion-dollar insurance businesses from the ground up.

Responsibilities:
The Manager of IT Operations will be joining a world-class team as a key member of what will become a market leading specialty insurance company.
This role will lead/drive the definition and management of core IT operations functions spanning the entire IT Services Management lifecycle, including Identity and Access Management.

Specifically, this role will be responsible for:
1. Service Strategy: Definition of IT services strategy, selection and implementation of services management software and building phased implementation strategy based on organizational priorities and scope.
2. Service Design: Defining and driving the overall integrated design of the service operations capability, including internal customers, external customers, and software/solution vendors.
3. Service Transition: Defining and managing the release process in a complex technical ecosystem, establishing a disciplined end to end process that ensures high quality outcomes.
4. Service Operations: Defining and managing the overall service delivery model from event/incident to resolution including adherence to service level agreements and escalation processes.
5. Service Reporting and Measurement: Defining and implementing key dashboards that track and measure the current operating environment, identifying areas of risk.
6. Continuous Improvement: Establishing an intake and prioritization process for both strategic and tactical improvement of the overall IT services operating environment.
7. Identity and Access Management: Driving the implementation and management of our enterprise identity, credentials, and access management solution. Owning and managing the operational processes to onboard/provision, modify, disable and retire users based on an enterprise role-based
access model that you will help define and implement.

In addition, we desire the following skills/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field of study from an accredited college or university
• 10+ years of relevant experience as an IT Manager working in a fast-paced,
undefined/unstructured environment.
• Must be a self-starter, have strong leadership skills and ability to drive strategy and definition.
• Managing operations and access controls in a multi-cloud environment
• Experience working in a hybrid agile environment
• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management, linking software delivery with operations
• ITIL certifications and implementation experience IS A MUST
• Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate at any level individually and within a team
• Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Demonstrates respect of diverse skills, personalities, and backgrounds of others at any level in the organization
• Proven ability to create a partnership culture to provide the best solution for the business
