Senior Front End Software Engineer

We are building the first connected industrial workforce centered around safety. Our first product is reducing workplace injuries by giving realtime feedback to the workers and improving workplace design.

We are looking for a software engineer who can help us build systems and our software engineering team to meet the demands of our growing customer base.
 

THE ROLE: 
The backbone of our unique wearable safety unit is the IoT device we place on every manufacturing and logistical worker's belt. This device analyzes and records, in real time, the worker's posture and movement and alerts them when they perform an unsafe movement. As an IoT engineer, you'll be a vital member of the team that builds the interface of this device and ship your software to our clients of thousands of workers across the globe. Your responsibilities will include:
 

-Front End  Design, plan, architect, and built systems to support a multi-faceted product from thousands of connected IoT devices, data ingestion and analytics, and Linux applications on small system-on-chip computers. 
- You will initially wear several hats, but can eventually take ownership of an entire front end segment of our infrastructure as our company and product grow. 
- Maintain and enhance our application’s front-end, creating scalable services, frameworks, using REACT. 

- Bring a testing culture to the company
 

REQUIREMENTS: 
- 5+ years experience in building cool things on the front end
- Eagerness to learn as well as teach. 
- Experience writing high performance and efficient code.
- Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript with the framework of REACT.
- Proven success working in cross-functional teams. You'll work regularly with other developers, data scientists, and product teams. 
- Strong communications skills with both technical and non-technical team members. 
- Collaborative about agile development and scrum methodologies. 
- Strong sense of project ownership and personal responsibility.
