VANTA Partners' client is a fundamental reimagination of how developers, devops, and security teams own, manage, and secure multi cloud resources.  As a founding member of our team, you’ll build, own, and shape products that will help reduce pain that all cloud-first companies have. You will solve some of the most challenging problems in the cloud security space. 

 

The ideal candidate should be entrepreneurial in nature with a growth mindset, and passionate about building fast, scalable, reliable software in the cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software to production. We are looking for a seasoned DevOps engineer to help maintain highly available and reliable infrastructure. You’ll be working closely with experts from leading companies. This will be a career-defining adventure!  

 

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of Experience.

• Proficient software engineer, able to design and develop reliable systems

• In-depth knowledge of modern CI/CD development practices

• Proficiency with Python or other related languages.

• Versed in infrastructure as code practices using technologies like Terraform.

• Experience with test-driven development, building test plans, unit tests, and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience working with cloud-based computing and modern cloud message-based architectures.

• Willingness to learn and pivot quickly on technologies and design approaches.

 

Responsibilities

• Help deploy, operate and troubleshoot the health of our cloud infrastructure.

• Design and implement processes to test, release software in the cloud.

• Help facilitate blame-free root cause analysis during system outages and incidents. 

• Provide continuous feedback, identify process improvement and openly communicate it with the team.

• Adhere to security best practices to secure our cloud infrastructure.

• Lead the team through reasoned decisions about design and implementation trade-offs.
